What We Do
HEA workshops teach the art and science of performing effective well-woman Breast and Pelvic and well-male Genital/Rectal examinations.
HEA instructors, acting as both teacher and patient, guide the student through every step of an exam, reinforcing the appropriate use of language and technical skills.
Our workshops provide students the opportunity to practice both clinical and interpersonal skills in a non-threatening environment. This, in turn, creates an informative, non-threatening environment for their future patients.
HEA also provides Standardized Patients for non-invasive, simulated patient (OSCE) scenarios.
HEA is proud to have been teaching health care professionals in the Southern California area since 2001.
